Child Life at the Hospital commissioned us to create a mural for the pediatric wainting room to offer some tranquility in a place of natural nervousness. We chose an undersea theme that spans 25 feet accompanied by a "scavanger hunt" list for kids to find and identify species. |

The mural is populated by 42 species of marine animals and a garden of seaweeds. All are native to Long Island Sound. A hand-out list with pictures, names and check boxes gives young pations the opportunity to find all the species. |
