AQUA CIRCUS is a ProtoZone artwork installed in the lobby of Schneider Children's Hospital on Long Island. Two eight foot high two foot square tanks house assorted mechanical creatures and special effects revealing some principles of animal locomotion and mechanization. To set the inhabitants in motion, children turn cranks, push buttons, raise levers, turn knobs, spin wheels, push pumps, move their heads and use their eyes.

Aqua Circus was made possible through the sponsorship of the Discover the Smile Foundation.
